Plank Industries Woodworking and Packaging, located in Cambridge, is a not-for profit Business Service Centre operated under the Community Options program of the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre. The centre officially opened in the spring of 2014 following a merger of Plank ‘N Hammer and Apple Tree Industries.
Plank Industries offers goods and services to businesses, entrepreneurs and individual customers including carpentry, furniture refinishing, labeling and shrink-wrapping, packaging and specialty oven-baked dog treats called Dog-Gone Goodies. An onsite portable mill takes raw materials to a usable product in the woodworking area supporting the popular production of kindling and stakes.
Click to view or download Plank Industries Participant Application Form or contact the Service Centre Coordinator at 902-375-3133. The work program is open to adult clients of Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre and also to individuals living in Kings County.
