Volunteering

Volunteers play an important role at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre (KRRC). Individuals and community groups contribute their time and talents to enhance the work done by KRRC employees.

KRRC’s valued volunteers support clients to develop their potential and improve their lives through participation in meaningful vocational, recreational, social, and leisure activities. Volunteers also help clients become more involved in the community outside the Centre in preparation for their transition to community residential settings.

Volunteers at KRRC give a great deal, but also gain valuable experience which helps them achieve their personal, educational, and employment goals.

KRRC’s Volunteer Program is currently undergoing changes. Once the process is completed, more information will be made available on this site. In the interim, inquiries can be directed to:

Charles Niesink at 902-538-3103, Ext. 177, cniesink@krrc.ns.ca; or
