Wade Goodman joined Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre in 2009 as a Power Engineer and later took on the roll of Chief Engineer. During this time, he also provided assistance to the Director of Facilities. In 2021 he accepted the roll of Operations Manager, which is the position he currently holds.
Wade has worked in the Mechanical field for over 30 years and holds a Journeyman License in a number of trades. In 2000, at the age 35 years, he returned to college at NSCC to obtain a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology. This provided invaluable experience in repair, operation, and design of mechanical systems. With his many years of knowledge and experience from the ground up, he is quite willing to jump into the fray and turn wrenches, provide mentorship, guidance, and education to the younger Engineers on staff.
Along with his proficiency in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Wade obtained his other trade licenses in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and for a number of years he was also a private business owner.
